Oh friends. I haven’t been able to stop treading water. I feel like the day has to come when I will maybe kinda sorta have things together, but with such little sleep and such a moving baby… I remain exhausted and just hanging on. BUT, my little baby is a serious charmer, and he is so.much.fun. We play. Yesterday he rolled three plastic cups around the kitchen floor. He’d roll them, and then crawl after them. He did this long enough for me to sit at the table and eat a bowl of cereal.

Miracles never cease.

He adores outside, swimming, and most recently was introduced to the swings.

Did I mention he’s adorable? =)

Next week I leave for BlogHer. I will be away from that face for five days. I’m not quite sure that I’ve ever felt so on the edge of despair for missing someone, and if you recall, I lived 7 hours away from my husband for 3 months. This baby, I tell ya… no one warned me how I would love him.

There’s a great deals site, Plum District, that I really like. Right now they’re running a $20 for $20 discount for the Honest brand. Have you heard of Honest? They have diapers, baby care, and home cleaning products. I’m looking forward to trying them out (they’re sending me a few samples in exchange for me telling you about the deal) – everything is natural, non-toxic and eco-friendly. Plus, a portion of every dollar they earn goes to Baby2Baby.org. This worthy non-profit supplies local families in need with essential baby gear and clothing for children up to age 12 – cool, right?! Let me know if you end up purchasing and using them!

As always, our friends at DaySpring have awesome deals going on too.

For a few more days, they’re running the Summer Joy sale – use the code JOY2012 at checkout, and take 25% of everything (even clearance!!) That makes some things super crazy cheap: the Give Thanks Wooden Caddy, originally priced at $22.99 is on sale for $12.99, and w/the discount comes to $9.74! The sale only goes til the end of July, so click over soon.

This week we made our own Chipotle meal entirely from scratch. We marinated beef, squeezed limes, diced tomatoes and onions, shaved corn off the cob, grated cheese, and danced a little too. I’m not sure I’ve ever had such a good meal in this kitchen.

I am so ridiculously tired and the Boy is due to wake anytime. Night night, friends.
